I've had chicken over rice platters all my life from Manhattan to Long Island. For some reason this fried chicken spot is in my top 3 of best chicken platters.
The chicken is seasoned and marinated for days. The yellow rice has a great aroma and the owner, Chima is a pleasure to deal with. I've ordered catering from him for 25 people and the party LOVED it. Highly recommend.
Scrumptious food and amazing service. We tried their mixed gyro platter…… the meat was juicy and tender and every bite was full of flavor. The owner is super friendly and the atmosphere is clean. Highly recommended!
The proprietor was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken and rice platter. It was great. Came with lettuce, tomato, rice, chicken and yogurt based sauce (I added hot sauce). Large portion. I took some of it home as I could not finish it. Great value for the money. I also got a banana pudding to go. I am looking forward to trying either the chicken and lamb platter or the lamb platter the next time that I go there.
